Taking the top spot was Minecraft: Story Mode, which released its sixth episode in early June, and starred a number of popular YouTube personalities. Last month, a handful of games that debuted at E3 made its way to YouTube’s trending games list, although we’re surprised to see their list isn’t completely dominated by content from the show. YouTube is one of those video streaming sites people turn to in order to see the latest trailers, gameplay, and commentary. While members of the media are able to attend the show and give our impressions on what we experienced, the average Joe gamer has to resort to online coverage and video streaming sites to get their dose of the big show.
It’s undeniable June is a big month for video games considering nearly every company has something to unveil during E3.
